Aniba roseodora– Steam Distilled from  wood chippings. Rich spicy, floral aroma. Blends well with: cedarwood, frankincense, geranium, rosemary, mandarin, ylang ylang. Research in October of 1995 has shown this oil to have the highest inhibition rate of all the oils tested against gram positive and gram-negative bacterial growth.  At least 30% of my blends contain this valuable oil.
The main chemical components of rosewood oil are a-pinene, camphene, geraniol, neral, geranial, myrcene, limonene, 1,8-cineole, linalool, benzaldehyde, linalool oxides and a-terpineol.

Generally considered non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating.  Dilute well for topical use.
