(Orange blossom)-Citrus aurantium– distilled from the freshly picked flowers. Also an absolute and concrete are produced by solvent extraction. Fresh, delicate, warm, sweet-floral. Blends well with virtually all oils, CHAMOMILE, CORIANDER, GERANIUM, CLARY SAGE, LAVENDER, ROSE, YLANG YLANG, JASMINE, MYRRH, BENZOIN, SANDALWOOD, CEDAR and all citrus oils. Used in all high class perfumes. One ton of hand picked flowers is needed to produce one quart of oil.
Generally considered non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating in low doses. Dilute well for topical use.
