Helichrysum

Helichrysum italicum/angustifolium-distilled from the fresh flowers and flowering tops. Has a rich, powerful honey-like scent, tea-like.

Blends well with CHAMOMILE, LAVENDER, GERANIUM, CLARY SAGE, ROSE, PERU BALSAM, CLOVE, and all citrus oils. Also called IMMORTELLE or EVERLASTING. Used as a fragrance fixative, but at the present time, is one of the rarest, expensive and most sought after oils. World production cannot keep up with demand as more uses are found. I save it for special blends and extreme first aid use.

Generally considered non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating in low doses. Dilute well for topical use. Useful and active at low doses. Can be used Neat for extreme first aid for bruises.
