Cedrus Atlantica-Cedrus Atlantica-distilled from the wood, stumps, and sawdust. Fragrance is warm, camphor top note with sweet, tenacious, woody-balsamic undertone. The oil is quite different from Texas or Virginia Cedarwood, which are members of the Juniper family. Used as a fragrance component and fixative in cosmetics, soaps, etc, as well as colognes. There is also a Himalayan Cedar (cedrus deodora) Blends with many other oils, especially Citrus, Rosemary, Chamomile, Eucalyptus.

Generally considered non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating in low doses. Dilute well for topical use.
