Generally we do not get all the information on Critical Illnesses in one place or site. So here is a small summary of many critical illnesses. Go to through the guide and ensure to remember it.

HEART ATTACK

Signs & Symptoms

chest discomfort,fullness,squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes...
excessive sweating...
pain spreading to the shoulders,neck or arms...
fainting,nausea or shortness of breath...
anxiety,nervousness and cold,sweaty skin,cold extremities...
pallor or paleness
increased or irregular heart rate...

DO'S AND DON'TS-

exercise regularly
get at least 7 hours of rest each night
avoid stress
quit smoking
reduce weight if you need to
maintain a low fat, low salt,low cholesterol diet
avoid lifting or pushing heavy weights\loads.

CANCER

Signs & Symptoms

Unexplained weight loss...
fever and fatigue..
body pain..
skin changes...
any abnormal growth in the body,specially in the ABDOMEN,BREAST,LYMPH GLAND,which is hard,painless:should be immediately reported to the physician.....

Do's & Don'ts

eat foods high in calories and rich in fiber
try to relax
drink plenty of fluids so that your body has the water it needs to function properly
avoid eating or drinking when vomiting is likely
don't eat your favorite foods when you feel nauseous
avoid drinking liquids at mealtimes..

STROKE

Signs & Symptoms

dizziness
absent mindedness or temporary loss of memory or mental disability
numbness or weakness in the face,arm or leg
garbled speech
eye problems,including temporary loss of sight in one eye or double vision
recent onset of severe headaches..

Do's & Don'ts

control your blood pressure
check blood cholesterol levels regularly
get regular exercise
keep your weight down
don't smoke
keep blood sugar levels under control if your diabetic
use alcohol in moderation,,IF AT ALL
avoid taking oral contraceptives pills if possible
learn to manage stress
ask your doctor to evaluate ou for surgical procedure that scrapes away deposits in one or both of the main arteries in the neck

BLINDNESS

Causes

cataracts
glaucoma
age related muscular degeneration
trachoma
corneal opacity
diabetic retinopathy

Do's & Don'ts

avoid exposing your eyes to harsh light
use sunglasses with U.V protection
consume foods with VITAMIN A
get your eyes examined regularly for any corneal defects
